Propagation & Cultivation

It can be propagated through seeds and cuttings.

Seed Propagation : Collect mature seed pods from a healthy plant, allow them to dry thoroughly and extract the seeds, then sow them in a well-draining mix, lightly cover with soil, and mist to moisten; place the tray in a warm, bright spot away from direct sunlight, keep the soil consistently moist, and after 2–4 weeks when seedlings develop true leaves, transplant them into pots or directly into the garden.

Cutting Propagation : Select healthy, non-flowering stems from the parent plant and cut 4–6 inch sections just below a leaf node, remove the lower leaves leaving 2–3 at the top, optionally dip the cut ends in rooting hormone, then plant them in a well-draining mix, water thoroughly, and cover with a plastic bag to maintain humidity; place the pot in a warm, bright spot away from direct sunlight, and after 3–4 weeks when roots develop, transplant the new plants.
