How to use
- Bark decoction mixed with honey is used to treat asthma, consumption and rheumatism.
- Leaves are used for the treatment of external application for ulcers.
Conservation
Propagation & Cultivation
Seed propagation is the most common method, though germination can be slow. Seeds are typically collected from fruits that ripen between December and May. To improve germination rates, they can be soaked in fresh water for 24 hours before sowing in a nursery bed with rich, well-drained soil under shade. Once the seedlings reach about 30 cm in height, usually after a year, they are ready to be transplanted to the main field.
