Propagation & Cultivation
Propagation is straightforward, typically achieved through stem cuttings or division, best performed during the active growing season. Take a 3-4 inch (7–10 cm) stem cutting with at least 2–3 nodes.Remove the leaves from the lower portion of the stem.Root in water (change every few days) or directly in a moist, light, well-draining soil mix (e.g., potting mix with perlite or peat). Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered shade. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light will lead to sparse growth.Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, reducing frequency in winter.
