How to use
- Swelling/ Inflammations : In folk medicine, mashed fresh leaves are sometimes applied to boils or skin inflammations to reduce swelling (similar to other Pennyworts).
- Sore throat :: Leaves are boiled to make a tea or decoction to treat internal ailments like colds and sore throat.
Propagation & Cultivation
Propagation: Very easy to propagate via runners (stems). If you pull up a strand, you will see roots at the nodes; simply cut a section with roots and replant it.
Cultivation: It grows best when the roots are wet or submerged in water (aquatic). Prefers full sun to partial shade. It spreads rapidly and can become invasive in garden ponds if not controlled.
