Propagation & Cultivation
Stem Cutting Propagation:
To propagate through stem cuttings, choose a healthy stem with at least 2–3 leaf nodes and cut it just below a node using clean, sharp scissors. Remove the lower leaves, keeping 2–3 leaves at the top, and optionally dip the cut end in rooting hormone. Plant the cutting in a small pot filled with moist, well-draining potting mix, then cover it with a clear plastic bag to maintain humidity. Place the pot in bright, indirect light, keeping the soil consistently moist. Roots usually develop in 2–3 weeks, and once new growth appears, the plastic bag can be removed.
Division Propagation:
For propagation by division, carefully remove the plant from its pot and gently separate the root ball into 2–3 sections, ensuring that each section has healthy roots and stems. Plant each division in a separate pot with fresh potting mix, water thoroughly, and place in bright, indirect light.
