Propagation & Cultivation
To propagate Night Jasmine from seeds, first harvest mature seeds and let them air dry for a few days. Store the dried seeds in a cool, dry place. For germination, sow the seeds in a tray filled with well-draining potting mix, cover them lightly with coco peat, and water gently. Place the tray in a warm spot with indirect sunlight. Once the seedlings develop several sets of true leaves, transplant them into individual pots, ensuring they have enough space, water, and sunlight to grow well.
Night Jasmine can also be propagated from cuttings. Select healthy, six-inch stems, remove lower leaves, and dip the cut ends in rooting hormone. Plant them in well-draining soil, covering at least two nodes. Water well and place in a warm, bright spot away from direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist. Roots form in 4–6 weeks, after which you can transplant the cuttings into individual pots.
