Propagation & Cultivation
Rajamalli is commonly propagated using seeds. Mature seed pods are collected when they turn brown and dry. The seeds are then removed and soaked in warm water for 12 to 24 hours to help soften their hard outer coat. After soaking, the seeds are sown in well-drained soil, about 1 to 2 cm deep. Regular watering is needed to keep the soil moist, and the seeds usually germinate within 1 to 2 weeks. Once the seedlings grow to about 10–15 cm, they can be transplanted to a permanent location with plenty of sunlight.
