Description
- Habit : Herb
- Habitat : A weed of roadsides, abandoned gardens, waste areas
- Leaves : Mature leaves are dark green with light gray-green
- Flowers : small,tubular,white or greenish-white
- Rhizome : thick, horizontal, and white or light green in color
How to use
- Cough : Root is given in the form of an electuary in consumtive problems and cough with dosage of small teaspoon twice a day.
- Bronchitis : The decoction of the root is given to the patient who is suffering from bronchitis.

Propagation & Cultivation
Snake plants can be easily propagated by leaf cuttings or division. For leaf cuttings, cut a healthy leaf, let it dry for a day, and place it in water or soil to grow roots. In division, separate the root clumps and plant them in new pots. Propagation is best done in spring or summer.
