Propagation & Cultivation
Plant large garlic cloves (pointy side up) in cool weather, 6 inches apart in compost-rich soil. Water well, mulch to keep moisture, and stop watering 2–3 weeks before harvest. Fertilize when plants are 6 inches tall. Harvest when half the leaves turn yellow.
