Description
- Habit : Tree
- Habitat : Evergreen and semi-evergreen forests, also in the plains
- Leaves : simple, alternate
- Flowers : bisexual, white, fragrant
- Bark : grayish blotched with white and green
How to use
- The bark is used to treat cough, asthma, leprosy, skin eruptions, ulcer, wounds, dysentery and anemia.
- The resin is useful in chronic bronchitis, tubercular glands, hemorrhoids, diarrhea and ring worm.
- The seed oil is used as an antibacterial and is useful in chronic rheumatism.

Propagation & Cultivation
By seeds and apical stem cuttings with 2-3 nodes. Seeds are allowed to germinate in nursery bed, ploy bagged when 3 months old, and field planted after 1 year.
Planting: Spacing adopted is 2mx2m or 3.5mx 3.5m.
