- Habit : Tree
- Habitat : River banks in semi-evergreen forests
- Leaves : digitately trifoliate, alternate, estipulate.
- Flowers : bisexual, creamy white, in terminal corymbs
- Fruits : a berry, globose or ovoid, yellowish-grey
- Seeds : brown, embedded in pulp.
How to use
- Foot ulcers : The leaves are crushed and applied externally to treat foot ulcers and to prevent suppuration.
- The leaves are used to treat fever and also served with coconut milk and ghee for rheumatism.
