How to use
  1. Cough & Cold : Decoction of dried immature fruits and roots or the powdered fruits mixed with honey is used to treat chronic bronchitis, cough and cold.
  2. Bleeding and fever : An infusion of fruits is used to treat women after child birth to check bleeding and fever.

Propagation & Cultivation

Long pepper is a tropical plant adapted to high rainfall areas with high humidity. An elevation of 100-1000 m is ideal.Long pepper is propagated by suckers or rooted vine cuttings.15-20 cm long 3-5 nodded rooted vine cuttings establishes very well in polybags. The best time for raising nursery is March-April.
