Description
- Habit : Herb
- Habitat : Rocky areas in moist deciduous forests, also in the plains
- Leaves : Lobed or parted
- Flowers : Red with purple on center
- Seeds : reniform, concentrically ribbed, blackish.

- Juice of the fresh plant is used as a febrifuge and expectorant
- Mucilage prepared from leaves and root is used to treat venereal diseases

Propagation & Cultivation
