Description

  1. Habit : Herb
  2. Habitat : Damp or wet soil,sometimes in marshes,often along sea beaches
  3. Leaves : glossy green, paler green below, with simple coarse white hairs
  4. Flowers : Borne on solitary or branched inflorescences, ray florets yellow 
  5. Fruits : 3-cornered nuts, very small
  6. Stem : Rounded, rooting at nodes, stolons up to 2m in length
How to use
  • A strong decoction of the whole plant is used to treat severe chest colds.
