Propagation & Cultivation
It can be propagated by cutting stem.To propagate a bay tree, take 6-inch green, pliable cuttings in summer, remove all but the top 2–3 leaves, and place the cut ends in water. Dip them in rooting hormone, insert into moist sand in a pot, cover with a clear plastic bag, and keep on a heating mat in indirect light until rooted in 1–2 months.
