Propagation & Cultivation
Propagation from cuttings involves selecting a healthy, semi-hardwood stem from a non-flowering branch during spring or early summer, cutting a 6-inch (15 cm) piece just below a leaf node, removing the lower leaves and any flower buds, optionally dipping the cut end in rooting hormone such as rooting powder or aloe vera gel to encourage root growth, planting it in a pot with moist, well-draining soil like a coco peat and sand mix, covering the pot with a plastic bag to retain moisture and create a greenhouse effect, keeping it in a warm, bright spot out of direct sunlight, and once new leaf growth appears indicating established roots, transplanting the new plant to a larger container or suitable garden location
