Propagation & Cultivation

The most effective method is dividing the tuberous roots or rhizomes during the growing season. The plant produces numerous suckers, which can be removed and potted individually. Plants can be grown from seeds, although vegetative propagation is generally preferred for speed and ease. It thrives in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil with consistent moisture, preferring partial to full shade. Key care includes regular watering, monthly fertilization in spring/summer.
