Seeds are the most suitable material for propagating this plant. Fruits are collected in summer, usually in May-June, with two good years generally followed by one or two poor ones. Fruits are harvested when they turn yellow, and seeds can also be gathered once they fall to the ground. After collection, seeds are dried in shade and can be stored in gunny bags for up to a year, though fresh seeds germinate more quickly.It grows in open areas in the forest,forming top to middle canopy
