- Leaves : Smaller in branchlets; elliptic-ovate to obovate, apex acute or obtuse, base cordate.
- Flowers : pale purple or greenish-white
- Fruits : pale purple or greenish-white
How to use
- Spleen disorders : Leaves of the plant and salt are burnt by closed heating. This is given with curd water.
- Eye diseases : Seeds of Arka processed in milk is useful.
- Hemorrhoids : Fumigation with root of the plant and same will be beneficial.
- Skin diseases : The latex of plant also used to treat skin diseases.

Propagation & Cultivation
It grows in well-draining soil. Propagation is through seeds.Can tolerate high temperatures, arid conditions, and coastal environment.Before sowing, seeds may need a pregermination treatment. Clean them thoroughly, removing any pulp residue. For a better germination rate, soak the seeds in warm water for 24 hours.
