Description
- Habit : Climbers
- Habitat : Moist deciduous forests and scrub jungles, also in the plains.
- Flowers : Male flowers in racemose, female flowers-staminodes
- Seeds : Sessile, seeds grooved vertically
How to use
- Fever : Take 2-3 tablespoons of Giloy juice and a similar amount of water and mix them well. Drink this mixture daily in the morning on an empty stomach.
- Controls Blood sugar : Take 1/2 teaspoon of Giloy powder twice a day with water after eating lunch and dinner.

Propagation & Cultivation
It is propagated vegetatively by stem cuttings.The usual planting time is with the onset of monsoon in May-June.Usually it is planted along boundaries or nearby tall trees and allowed to trail on the trees or hedges.
