Description

How to use
- Indigestion : The tuber is often boiled to remove bitterness and used as a vegetable, which helps in digestion.
- Piles : Powdered dried tubers are sometimes mixed with buttermilk (3-4g) to treat piles.
- Reduce swelling : The tuber paste is applied externally to treat scabies and reduce swelling.
Propagation & Cultivation
Tuber Division is the most common method. During dormancy, the main tuber can be divided. Ensure each section has at least one growth bud.Small cormels (offsets) that form around the main tuber can be detached and planted separately to grow new plants. Prefers bright, indirect light or dappled shade, mimicking its natural forest habitat.Requires a rich, well-draining, and slightly acidic to neutral soil. A mixture containing organic matter and gritty components (like sand or perlite) is essential to prevent waterlogging and tuber rot.
