- The bark paste is applied on body to relieve body pain.
- Bark juice is used to treat dysentery

The plant can grow well in dry or humid tropical areas.It grows over laterite, sandy and alluvial soil.Seeds are the best material for propagation.The collected seeds are dried in the sun after removing the pulp.Preferably, fresh seeds should be used.
