Description
- Habit : Creepers
- Habitat : In forests or near to sea level
- Leaves : leaves have leaf blades that are heart-shaped, glossy dark green
- Flowers : cylindrical flowering shoots
- Stems : slightly hairy
How to use
- Cough : Pippali fried in ghee - Intake 2gm of dose twice daily.
- Arthritis : 5gms of powdered pippali taken along with milk or ghee cures Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis.
- Diarrhea : Equal parts of powders of pippali and pepper are mixed with water and consume.

Propagation & Cultivation
It is cultivated successfully in laterite soils with high organic matter content, water holding capacity and well drained fertile black cotton soil.It is propagated through stem or vine cuttings at the beginning of the rainy season.Vine cuttings can be rooted in polythene bags, filled with the common pot mixture.
