How to use
- വീക്കം : ഇലകളുടെയോ പഴങ്ങളുടെയോ കാമ്പ് വീക്കം മൂലമുണ്ടാകുന്ന വീക്കവും പരുവും ഒഴിവാക്കാൻ ബാഹ്യമായി പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നു.
- പനി : ഇലയുടെ കഷായം തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നതും പിത്ത പനി ചികിത്സിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗപ്രദവുമാണ്.
- പൈൽസ് : ഇലയുടെ നീര് രക്തസ്രാവം, ശരീരവേദന എന്നിവയുടെ ചികിത്സയ്ക്കും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

It can thrive in tropical and subtropical climate except in places experiencing frost. It thrives even in sodic and saline soils, ravines and degraded land.It is propagated through seeds.The seedlings take 8-10 years for fruiting and the grafts takes 4-5 years fruiting. It is not uncommon that trees with more than 100 years yielding normally. Fruits are harvested from December –April.
